The Postgraduate Program in Financial & Management Engineering of the Department of Financial and Management Engineering, University of the Aegean, Chios, Greece, has been officially approved by the Greek Ministry of Education.
The program has annual duration and was first offered during the Academic Year 2005-2006, now entering the ninth (9th) year of operation.
The Postgraduate Program in Financial & Management Engineering aims at transferring knowledge through methodologies, tools and research outcomes lying among technology, economics, finance and management.
All students attend core courses related to management principles and managerial strategy, managerial accounting, financial management and decision engineering principles. Students following the financial engineering stream, specialize in courses related to financial mathematics, international finance and international macroeconomics, financial econometrics, financial market simulation and dynamics of financial markets. Students following the management engineering stream, specialize in courses related to OR, MIS, HR, operations and production management, supply chain & logistics, and project & risk management.
