The mission of the Equal Access Unit is to ensure the full participation of members of the university community —including individuals with disabilities and those with special educational needs— in all educational, research, and administrative activities carried out by the University of the Aegean.
Through the development of an Individualized Needs and Support Plan, the necessary guidelines are provided for the educational and examination processes to ensure the equal participation of all. For its part, the Department of Engineering, Economics, and Management has established the position of Faculty Advisor for Female Students/ Students with Disabilities and/or Special Educational Needs, who communicates with students regarding all relevant issues and serves as a liaison with the Unit.
